Here’s a Story About the Painter Keale Comstock

On the North Shore, there is something of a Renaissance happening! The annual Hale`iwa Art Festival takes place every Summer and draws many local artists to showcase fine art.

There are many more venues small and private that are growing-not just galleries also pop up events and markets. However, it is the same as it was 100 years ago.  Being an Artist is still a struggle for many; they work to earn supplies, space, time, and aim to sell their work to earn a living.  Wave Paintings is brought to you by Keale and his Ohana, an effort of love and enduring support.

His art is inspired from the North Shore of O`ahu and other special places.  We deeply respect the Hawaiian People, culture, and land.  He paints to capture the beauty all around us.
